November has brought nice weather and clear skies to Davos. Ideal conditions for commissioning and calibration of our new PMO8 radiometers. They have been successfully calibrated and are now delivered to our customers. We are looking forward to the production of the 2021 series.
Manufacturing of the 2020 series of the PMO8 is in progress. The Davos Instruments Team is working hard.

Davos instruments is now starting to manufacture the new PMO8 sensor unit Fliana. The PMO8 Basic system can be ordered now.
Diffraction effects in solar radiometry are nothing new, they have been discussed at several occasions, mostly in conjunction with establishing absolute scales. When it comes to extremely precise measurements, as the ISO 9060 AA-class calls for, it is worth to look at diffraction a little closer.
