The heliostat is an installation with two flat mirrors that is guiding a solar light beam into a laboratory, where experiments take place. The electrical circuitry of the mirror motion control system had been damaged by a lightning stroke last year. After the repair, the heliostat is now successfully operated by PMOD/WRC again.
