Finally the solar radiometry crowd gathers again in Davos, Switzerland. The 13th International Pyrheliometer Comparison (IPC) has successfully started. It is a great pleasure to meet again in person and to compare our instruments together. With close to a 100 absolute cavity radiometers present, it is an excellent opportunity to independently study the performance of the radiometers. Several PMO8, manufactured by Davos Instruments, are taking part in the intercomparison. Furthermore, Davos Instruments operates an Eppley AHF-radiometer in active mode: a premiere.

Calibration time
November has brought nice weather and clear skies to Davos. Ideal conditions for commissioning and calibration of our new PMO8 radiometers. They have been successfully calibrated and are now delivered to our customers. We are looking forward to the production of the 2021 series.
