The NREL Pyrheliometer comparison in Golden USA is in full gear. The event has started with almost ideal sky conditions, good data has been collected right from the start. Davos Instruments staff is enjoying the event, having many opportunities for fruitful discussions among experts.

ISRC – Lignan (Aosta)
This last week of June, an impressive installation of different radiometers has been set up in Lignan (Aosta, Italy). It is the 11th International Spectroradiometer and Broadband Intercomparison 2023 (ISRC) organised by the Joint Research Centre (JRC). More than a dozen institutions from the fields of solar energy research and meteorology are taking part in this event. Comparing and calibration their equipment. Davos Instruments is operating its PMO8 reference as well as two radiometers on behalf of the World Radiation Centre.
BRPC in Norrköping
Another exciting pyrheliometer comparison is taking place: The Baltic Region Pyrheliometer Comparison (BRPC), hosted by SMHI, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. Davos Instruments is very pleased to participate in this event.
Davos Instruments in Japan
Davos Instruments is currently participating in the fifth WMO Regional Pyrheliometer Comparison of WMO RA-II, jointly held with RA-V on Mount Tsukuba in Japan, an exciting event having approximately 20 absolute radiometers and many experts here. It is a great pleasure to be here and enjoy valuable discussions, excellent infrastructure and delicious meals.
Davos Instruments at NPC 2022
Davos Instruments is participating in the NREL Pyrehliometer Comparison in Golden USA. Davos Instruments is sucessfully operating two PMO8 radiometers with Linard control units. It is the first time, PMO8 radiometers are taking part in this comparison event at NREL.
